Orthodox Praxis is a teaching archive offered freely by the parish. It exists to hand on the faith, not to gather information about the people who read it. This page says plainly what is and is not collected.
No cookies, no tracking
This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. There is no account to create and nothing to sign in to.
The question form
The only information this site collects is what you choose to type into the question box on the Questions I’d Like to Ask page. Your name and email address are optional there. Whatever you send is stored by Netlify, the company that hosts the site, and delivered to Fr. George and the volunteer who maintains the site. It is used only to answer you and, when a question would help others, to add it to that page without your name. Nothing you send is sold, shared, or added to any mailing list. To have a submission deleted, write to the parish office at office@transfiguration.org.
Services this site relies on
A few things are loaded from other companies, and each of them can see the ordinary technical details of your visit, such as your IP address and browser type:
- Netlify hosts the site and keeps standard server logs for a short time to run it securely.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces.
- YouTube plays the lecture videos. The site uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed, which does not set advertising cookies unless you play a video; once you press play, YouTube’s own privacy policy applies.
Links marked as external, such as the liturgical calendar or the parish website, take you to sites with their own policies.
